Este clar că RX 480 este o carte de high-end semnificativ mai capabilă, care poate reda titluri AAA la 1080p/1440p cu 50-60 de cadre pe secundă. În ceea ce privește memoria RX 480 , 8192 RAM MB este mai mult decât suficient pentru jocuri moderne și nu ar trebui să cauzeze blocaje.

For around the same price I can either get a used 7990, R9 Fury, or RX480.

What are the pros and cons of each?
Not worried about power consumption, just raw performance specs.

Wait for VEGA is the best option. Crossfire doesn't scale well with all games.

Hi guys

I have preordered the Sapphire RX 480 nitro+ OC 8gb from Overclocker.co.uk but now i see they sell a R9 Fury Nitro for just 50pounds more.

I know have seconds thought of the RX 480, should i get the Fury instead?

I have a Corsair VX550w Psu, and i don't know if it will be enough for the Fury?

No, I would stick to the 480 nitro, especially with that PSU.

I've always wanted an R9-Fury. But now that the RX-480 is available, it seems I would be going backwards to get the Fury. I see that the Fury is faster than the 480, but is it worth it since the Fury uses older tech?
How does it compare with the newer 480 in Vulkan and DX12 games? 1080p for now, but I may get a 1440p display later.

I would say the 480 is a better choice, however Vega should be relatively soon so it may be worth seeing what card they offer as a bit above the 480.

this week i'm planning to buy new gaming PC. I'll be gaming on 1440p and i don't have enough money to buy GTX 1070, so i'm choosing between these 3 cards (about the same price in Germany 270-300€):

1. GTX 1060 6GB Golden Sample (Gainward)
2. RX 480 GTR (XFX) 8GB
3. R9 Fury

Which one would you choose and why?

The R9 Fury is much faster than the other two. The GTX 1060 comes in second and the RX 480 third, although the performance difference isn't huge.

If your PSU can handle it and the price really is the same, then the Fury is the one to buy.

Can you give me some fps and evidence ?
My Budget is around 500 dollar, so i need to buy 16gb ram and a power supply 650w = 125 dollars, I found a msi rx 480 at 310 dollars, a sapphire r9 fury at 350/360 dollars and a sapphire r9 fury x at 380/370 dollars.
Which has the best fps, the best working on new engines like dx12 and vulkan, temperature, power consume ?
I will need some evidence and benchmarks.

using sapphire rx480 4gb.

played rise of the tomb raider(high settings), crysis3(utra settings), farcry3(utra settings). no trouble of getting 60+ fps. temp (70c-82c). avg total system power consumption around 250w.

get rx480, since its relatively new and has better power consumption.
