Spec for spec, ten GTX 1080 Ti przeskakuje swojego bezpośredniego poprzednika, GTX 980, przechwalając się o 2 % więcej fps.
GTX 1080 Ti ma 11 GB pamięci RAM w porównaniu do GTX 980 pamięci 4 GB. Na szczęście wydajność gier była imponująca. GTX 1080 Ti konsekwentnie zapewnia duży wzrost liczby klatek na sekundę w stosunku do GTX 980, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti i naprawdę usprawiedliwia aktualizację.
W przypadku 1080p Full HD mogliśmy grać w Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Metro Exodus, Borderlands 3, Anthem przy 60 fps do 87 fps, a utrzymywał 74 klatek na sekundę wokół 74 fps. W przypadku 1440p Quad HD mogliśmy grać w Anthem, Gears of War 5, Need For Speed: Heat, Just Cause 4, Monster Hunter: World przy 69 fps do 77 fps, a utrzymywał 74 klatek na sekundę wokół 74 fps.

NVIDIA claims that the 1080 Ti yields a 35% performance improvement over the GTX 1080, which is up from the 980 Ti’s 25% improvement over the 980 and the 780 Ti’s 18% improvement over the 780.
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti packs 3584 CUDA cores, 224 texture units and 88 ROPs. It comes with 11GB of GDDR5X VRAM, which has a speed of 11Gbps – making this Nvidia’s quickest Pascal card.
Ironically the GTX 980 Ti, which was more CUDA cores, texture units, and ROPS should also be significantly less powerful than the 1080; a perfect demonstration of the efficiency of Nvidia’s new ...
But prices for the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti—Nvidia’s powerful, previous-gen flagship—have started relaxing in recent weeks after spending most of 2018 inflated by wild cryptocurrency demand.

Two and a half long years after the launch of the GeForce GTX 10-series, Nvidia’s next generation of graphics cards is finally here, and the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti top our performance charts.
Nvidia's reference GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the same size as its Titan X (Pascal). The distance from the slot cover to end of the cooler spans 26.9cm. From the top of the motherboard slot to the top ...
750W enough for GTX 1080 + RTX 2080 Ti? I'm not too hardware-savvy, so I appreciate your input. I preordered an RTX 2080 Ti today. My rig currently has a GTX 1080, i7 7700K, 32 GB RAM, Evo 960 M.2, and a WiFi card. Will a 750W PSU be enough (without overclocking), or will I need something higher? I don't plan on overclocking it. Thanks!

Upgrading from gtx 1080 Ti to Rtx 2080? Hello guys, i'm thinking of upgrading my gtx 1080 ti to an "new" Rtx 2080 (still not sure is the rumor is true or something), i,m playing mostly at 4K 60 fps, but i think the rtx can give me more performance to maintain the fps, do u think this is worth? Or i could wait for another gen? (Want to sell this to buy another)

Best to wait for the reviews, and from more than one source.

What would you do? GTX 1080 ti vs. RTX 2080 [Moderator note: moved post to Graphics Cards.]
Hey, here is my dilemma, I need a new gamer pc, my old one is dead. I have paid a local business for building it.
I have see the RTX launch but I'm not sold, so I went with the GTX 1080 ti instead. It's cheaper and I could get it right away. It has also been well test and supported.
I ordered it, and then the guy calls me and tells me the GTX 1080 ti won't be in stock before the 14th. He then asked me if I wouldn't rather have the "Asus Dual RTX 2080 8GB", by model.
He offered it for the same price(even that it's a bit more expensive), and since the release date and restocking date are close together. I choose the new generation.
I have heard many online saying we should wait to see reviews or benchmarks before buying it. But I really wondered what other people would do in my place. After all it's not too late to change the order.
I guess my question is, what would you do?
Here is the system I ordered.
Intel i7-8700K Cryorig H7 Asus Dual RTX 2080 8GB or Asus Strix GTX1080Ti 11GB 32GB G.Skill RipJaws 3200MHz Asus Prime Z370-P Kingston A400 240GB SSD 3TB Toshiba P300 HDD Corsair TX650Watt Gold+ NZXT H500i - Black

First, one thing i notice was the term "dual" in asus. that dual cooler is pretty bad, and you might want to do something about it.
performance wise, I don't think there is going to be too much difference, between 1080ti and 2080. that's what people are basically guessing, and it's reasonable to say that this is the worst case scenario. (1080ti = 2080).
any chance that rtx 2080 massively improves fps over the 1080ti (2080 > 1080ti). that's an bonus.
since you are paying the same for the latest tech. i think it's worth a try.
Ustawienia Ultra VS wysokiej jakości w grach komputerowych
