The price/performance ratio is excellent for RX 5600 XT against the competition in budget mid-range cards. In terms of memory, the RX 5600 XT 's 6144 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. This combination between RX 5600 XT and Intel Core i5-680 @ 3.60GHz is going to cause serious bottlenecks in many games and cause severe FPS loss. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2020 .

The RX 5700 might be the high-end flagship of the latest RDNA 1.0 set of graphics cards, but their prices keep them out of the reach of most mid-range PC gamers. On the other hand, the RX 5600 XT is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 279. AMD ’s xx00 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the RDNA 1.0 graphics card inside the RX 5600 XT, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.

Unfortunately, gaming performance was not quite as impressive. Even if the RX 5600 XT consistently delivers frame rate increases over the RX 590, the gain is not much to justify an upgrade. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Anthem, Need For Speed: Heat, Just Cause 4, Gears of War 5 at 66 fps to 83 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 76 fps.

For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Just Cause 4, Final Fantasy XV, Monster Hunter: World, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, GreedFall at 61 fps to 68 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.
