The HyperX Cloud Core has excellent noise cancelling capability. In terms of sound quality, the HyperX Cloud Core is one of the best sounding headsets with very clear and crisp sound. For gaming, the HyperX Cloud Core is not up to par with other similar headsets. The HyperX Cloud Core is not suitable for those who want the best convenience and sound experience while watching tv. For the sports and fitness enthusiasts,the HyperX Cloud Core is not recommended as it lacks in comfort and stability while doing sports. Sound leakage is worse that other competitors. In terms of recording quality and voice chat usage, the HyperX Cloud Core performs reasonably well against the competition. The HyperX Cloud Core suffers in terms of outside noise isolation and is not convenient for travel and commution in loud environments.
