Ved 1440p kan RX 5500 XT 4GB slå 50-60 fps på stort sett alt på ultra, bare uten antialiasing, mindre omgivende okklusjon og skrudd ned skygger. Det er klart at RX 5500 XT 4GB er et betydelig bedre standby-kort som kan spille AAA-titler på 1080p / 1440p med 50-60 bilder per sekund. Pris / ytelsesforholdet er utmerket for RX 5500 XT 4GB mot konkurransen i budsjett mellomkort. Med dagens 4096 MB RAM kan RX 5500 XT 4GB ha svært få minnerelaterte flaskehalser i mer moderne spill.

RX 5700 kanskje mid-range flaggskipet til det siste RDNA 1.0 settet med grafikkort, men prisene holder dem utenfor rekkevidden for de fleste entry-level PC-spillere. På den annen side er RX 5500 XT 4GB nærmere å være rimelig til en prislapp på kr 1480.4. AMD 's xx00 -kort har alltid blitt definert av entry-level priser med ytelse som banker på døren til mid-range grafikkort - spesielt når de er overklokket. Etter å ha tatt oss tid til å teste RDNA 1.0 grafikkortet inne i RX 5500 XT 4GB, kan vi uten tvil si at det fortsetter trenden.

Dessverre var ikke spillytelsen like imponerende. Selv om RX 5500 XT 4GB konsekvent leverer bildefrekvensøkning over RX 570, er gevinsten ikke mye som rettferdiggjør en oppgradering. For 1080p Full HD kunne vi spille Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Apex Legends, F1 2019, Forza Horizon 4, Hitman 2 på 60 fps til 65 fps og holdt bildefrekvensene svevet rundt 62 fps.

For 1440p Quad HD kunne vi spille World War Z, Battlefield V på 61 fps til 64 fps og holdt bildefrekvensene svevet rundt 63 fps.
