RTX 2060 with i7-8700K benchmarks at Medium Quality settings
It is clear that the RTX 2060 is a significantly more capable high-end card that can play AAA titles at 1080p/1440p with 50-60 frames per second. In terms of memory, the RTX 2060 's 6144 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2019 .
The RTX 2070 might be the mid-range flagship of the latest Turing set of graphics cards, but their prices keep them out of the reach of most entry-level PC gamers. On the other hand, the RTX 2060 is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 350. The good news is, with the release of the RTX 2060 SUPER, the RTX 2060 's price is getting more discount.
NVIDIA ’s xx60 cards have always been defined by entry-level prices with performance that knocks on the door of mid-range graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Turing graphics card inside the RTX 2060, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. The RTX 2060 is much more expensive than the GTX 1060 6GB as it costs a whopping $ 350. Compare this to the GTX 1060 6GB, which came originally at a price of $ 254. Meanwhile, the AMD closest equivalent card is the RX 5700 which costs $ 349.
Spec for spec, this RTX 2060 leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 1060 6GB, by boasting 2 % more fps. In our synthetic benchmarks, the RTX 2060 blows past the GTX 1060 6GB and, amazingly, even the GTX 1070 as well.
Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The RTX 2060 consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 1060 6GB and it really justifies an upgrade. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Anthem, Need For Speed: Heat, Gears of War 5, Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 66 fps to 86 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 76 fps.
For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Gears of War 5, Need For Speed: Heat, Final Fantasy XV, Just Cause 4, Monster Hunter: World at 60 fps to 63 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 61 fps.
Why i3 8100+ rtx 2060 have Average fps in 1080p- 98, but r5 2600 + rtx 2060 have 94fps ?

@kider so i dont think u should have any issues with this procesor since is i7 with more cores and threats so it would go great but i would recommend for you to go check some videos on yt or benchmarks to see if its good and doesnt have bottleneck so you get full performance, also go more deeper in this things to be safe and sound...u might need to replace cpu due to more wanted and houngry games that take 100%gpu at all cores, then u might get bottleneck for sure but in low end games like lol, dota, gta itc...i dont se any problem not runing for next 10y

@Elad Maybe,U might get bottleneck due to much stronger gpu than cpu which means that your graphic card (2060) would need to wait for cpu to render/send to gpu, then gpu will need to wait,so lets say u get like 50-60fps same as having gtx 1050 performance....so im going to recommend to chech or ask on support site or seeing on youtube....in another way i would recommend better cpu at least 7th generation of intel processors if u want to pair with with this gpu

This is wrong, particularly for AC Odyssey, RTX 2060 + Ryzen 5 2600 average 59FPS 1440p on ultra.
What to Consider Before Buying a Graphics Card
If you have been planning to upgrade your system by purchasing a new graphics card. Then there are some important factors to consider.
Resolution VS Quality: Impact on Game Performance
What affects game performance? Clarity or Details?
Ultra VS High Quality Settings in PC Games
Every player has a different notion about the ideal setting for PC games. But in most cases, opting for a High quality graphics configuration is the way to go.
What are CPU or GPU Bottlenecks?
Are you getting sudden frame drops? you might have a bottleneck.
What is the acceptable FPS speed for me?
For some games, you can still enjoy great garphics at lower frame rates.
